In her new position, Ms. Guzman will manage all marketing and business development efforts for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s buildings practice in California. She has over 10 years of experience as a senior marketing executive. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, she led corporate marketing, operations and business development for Microdesk, a global design technology consultancy. Microdesk partners with leading AECO organizations to implement innovative technologies and processes, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), to design, build, and operate buildings and infrastructure more efficiently, more sustainably and more profitably. She previously worked with a leading architecture and urban planning firm in Washington, DC, supporting its international design and town planning divisions, and with a prominent Washington, DC PR agency managing public relations and public policy campaigns for various food and agriculture clients.

An active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Ms. Guzman serves as a member of the organization’s Public Development & Infrastructure Council, a volunteer with the UrbanPlan program, and member of the special committee that created the UrbanPlan for Public Officials program, launched at the 2016 ULI Fall Meeting. She is also a member of SMPS and a founding member of the Digital Story Association, an organization of thought leaders dedicated to exploring how to further applications of technology for learning and storytelling. Ms. Guzman received MBA and BS degrees from Cornell University.
