In his new position, Mr. Barr will develop and maintain project work plans in coordination with an IT master plan and airport capital master plan. He will facilitate enhanced collaboration between the airport’s IT and planning and development organizations and numerous airport stakeholders.
Prior to joining WSP, Mr. Barr was the founder of Quaternary Professional Services, Inc. in Atlanta, providing IT consulting services for a wide variety of clients. He previously served as an enterprise architect at AT&T Mobility and as a senior information systems architect for the City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation.
Mr. Barr received a B.S. in information systems from the University of Pittsburgh. His community activities include volunteering as a consultant in support of a computer lab funded by Montego Bay Sister Cities to teach the youth of Montego Bay about computers and IT. He also served as a computer programming teacher for the summer 2016 and 2017 sessions of the Microsoft STEAM Program for Atlanta-area high school and college students.
