SEATTLE, WA — Jill Marilley has been named construction services manager for the Pacific Northwest region of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.
In her new position, Ms. Marilley, who is based in the firm’s Seattle office, will be responsible for general management of the company’s construction services staff and operations in Washington State, Oregon and Hawaii. She will take the lead on major projects for which the firm is providing construction management services. She will also be responsible for developing new business for the firm.
Ms. Marilley has over 30 years of public and private experience providing high-quality design and construction management services on public works projects throughout the Puget Sound region. Prior to joining WSP, she was a senior project manager with an international engineering firm based in Bellevue, Washington. She has also been public works director and city engineer for the city of Mill Creek, Washington, and city engineer for the city of Shoreline, Washington. From the 1980s to 1999, she served Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle Engineering (now the Seattle Department of Transportation) as a senior project and construction manager.
A licensed professional engineer in Washington, Ms. Marilley holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Washington. She is a licensed civil engineer in the state of Washington. She has served on the board of directors of the American Public Works Association (APWA) since 2011 and is currently president-elect of APWA.
