President and Chief Executive Officer
Alexandre L’Heureux is the Corporation’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. L’Heureux joined the Corporation as Chief Financial Officer in July 2010, and held this role until transitioning to the role of President and CEO in October 2016. Before joining WSP, from 2005 to 2010, Mr. L’Heureux was a Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Celtic Therapeutics L.L.L.P. (now known as Auven Therapeutics) and a Partner at Celtic Pharma Management L.P. Prior to that, he developed an extensive knowledge of the alternative investments industry as the Vice President of Operations at BISYS Hedge Fund Services (now known as Citibank - Hedge Fund Services). He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute. Mr. L’Heureux was also appointed Fellow of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (Quebec CPA Order) in 2017.
Chief Financial Officer
Bruno Roy is the Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He was appointed in October 2016 and joined us from McKinsey & Company, where he was a Senior Partner in the Hong Kong office and Co-Leader of the Private Equity Service Line in the Asia Pacific region. He joined McKinsey in Montreal in 1999 and worked in Greater China from 2009 onwards, including five years in Beijing, where he was in charge of the office. He holds an MBA from the London Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Laval University in Quebec. He is a Board member of the Foundation of the Montreal Heart Institute.
Chief Operating Officer
Paul is a chartered engineer and has a PhD in material science which led to an early career in the nuclear power industry working for British Energy. In 1999, after a short break from the nuclear industry working in the financial services sector, Paul joined Atkins, the engineering consultant, where he held numerous roles leading businesses focused on the Energy and broader Design and Engineering markets. Paul joined WSP Group PLC in 2010 as a main Board Director with responsibility for all operations in the UK, Middle East, Africa and India. Paul has held the role of Chief Operating Officer for WSP since 2014 with responsibility for day-to-day operations worldwide.
Chief Corporate Services Officer
Robert Ouellette was appointed Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO) in September 2016 and is based at the Corporation’s headquarters in Montreal. Mr. Ouellette’s multidisciplinary role involves the oversight of information technology, workplace strategy, real estate and procurement, and the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing employee experience.
Robert Ouellette joins us from Desjardins Financial Group, where he served on the Management Committee and held the role of Senior Vice-President, Technology and Shared Services. Prior to his time with Desjardins, Mr. Ouellette was Chief Information Officer at Alcan and following the acquisition of Alcan by Rio Tinto, he held the role of Vice-President, Business Transformation.
Robert Ouellette started his career with Accenture, one of the largest consulting firms in the world. During his 19-year tenure at Accenture (the last five as a partner), he assisted clients during major transformation projects to drive business value.
Robert Ouellette graduated in 1987 from École Polytechnique de Montréal as an electrical engineer.
Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions
Steeve Robitaille is the Corporation’s Chief Legal Officer, Executive Vice President, Merger and Acquisitions. He also acts as Corporate Secretary. He joined the Corporation in this role in May 2017. Before joining WSP, Mr. Robitaille was a senior partner of the law firm Stikeman Elliott where he practiced corporate law for over 20 years and was a member of its Partnership Board and Executive Committee. Mr. Robitaille holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Laval University and is a member of the Quebec Bar.
Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications
Vice-President, Internal Audit
Mr. Albert Aubry was appointed in January 2016 to the position of Vice-President, Internal Audit and reports to the President of the Audit Committee and to the Chief Financial Officer in administrative terms. He is responsible for implementing and overseeing best practices and procedures suitable for the Corporation’s international working environment, as well as meeting the requirements of leaders and top management in internal audit.
Prior to joining the Corporation, Mr. Aubry held managerial positions in internal audit, forensic accounting and operations management for diverse companies in Canada and the United States, such as the Autorité des marchés financiers in Quebec, Quebecor World, Corning Cables, Optimum TCI, Cellstar Ltd., Cott Beverages, Canadelle and Septa Rail.
Mr. Aubry is a CPA and also holds the titles of CIA, CISA, CRMA and ASC.
Global Director, Environment & Resources
André-Martin Bouchard has approximately 25 years experience in the environmental industry. Since joining WSP in 2006, Mr. Bouchard has played a key role in growing the Canadian Environment sector to a Top 3 position. Over the years, he held various positions in Canada, serving most recently as Executive Vice President Environment and being a member of the Canadian Leadership Team. Before joining WSP, Mr. Bouchard was the Founder and CEO of Strate Environment. In the 1990s Mr. Bouchard held different positions in the hazardous waste and contaminated land Industry. Mr. Bouchard is a Professional Environmental Engineer who holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, option Environment, from Polytechnique Montréal.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Canada
Over a 20-plus year career, Ryan has focused on various growth initiatives, unparalleled client service, and bringing together diverse and multifunctional teams. He is a Certified Management Consultant and has a Master of Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
Julianna Fox was appointed Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for WSP in March 2018. She is responsible for overseeing the global compliance and ethics program and provides strategic advice on matters of business ethics. Julianna previously served as the Global Director of Compliance and Ethics from May 2015 to March 2018. Julianna began her career in legal and regulatory compliance as a litigator in the Montreal-based law firm Fasken, following which she was in-house counsel specializing in matters of regulatory compliance for a large international airline.
Julianna holds an MBA from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business as well as civil and common law degrees from the University of Ottawa. She is a member of both the Quebec and New York State Bars.
Vice President of Operations
Suzanne Gendron is WSP’s Vice President of Operations. Suzanne joined the Corporation in 2016, providing advisory services for the Corporation’s strategic initiatives. She has 20 years of experience within financial and global services organizations. She is recognized as a results-oriented business transformation leader with a proven track record of successful endeavours in strategy, performance improvement and communications.
Prior to joining WSP, Suzanne worked for many years in the financial services industry in Canada and in the United States, including most recently with Desjardins Group. She also worked for several years in the consulting industry where she used her high-level expertise in strategic planning, business transformation and governance.
She holds an MBA from l’École des Hautes études commerciales de l’Université de Montréal and a law degree from Sherbrooke University. She is a member of the Quebec Bar.
Managing Director, Middle East
Greg Kane is WSP’s Managing Director for the Middle East, having joined WSP in 2013 as Operations Director in the same region. Greg started his career as a structural engineer and has almost 20 years of experience in professional services and consulting in the construction industry in Europe, Australia and the Middle East. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD Business School in Paris.
Chief Executive Officer, USA
Gregory A. Kelly is Chief Executive Officer of WSP in the USA. Mr. Kelly was previously Global Chief Operating Officer of Parsons Brinckerhoff which was acquired by WSP in late 2014.
Mr. Kelly is currently the Vice Chair of the New York Building Congress, Chairman of the Salvadori Center, which focuses on STEM education for New York City schools and a member of the Philadelphia Chamber CEO Council for Growth. He also serves on numerous professional boards and is a member of the National Academy of Construction (NAC) and The Moles, a heavy construction industry organization. He is Chairman of the Design Professionals Coalition, a Board Member of the Association for the Improvement of Americas Infrastructure (AIAI), a member of the Construction Industry Roundtable (CIRT), and a member of the Advisory Council for Accelerator for America.
Mr. Kelly has degrees from Temple University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Managing Director, Asia
Ivy Kong, known for being a dynamic leader with a result-driven approach, has approximately 20 years experience in the professional services industry, most recently with AECOM in Asia, where she held management responsibilities. She is well known for her expertise in the infrastructure sector, where she has a strong track record of winning and delivering large projects. Ms. Kong holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering from the Hong Kong’s University of Science and Technology.
Chief Accounting and Treasury Officer
David Langlois is the Corporation's Chief Accounting and Treasury Officer. Mr. Langlois holds overall global responsibility for finance and treasury and liaises with his finance counterparts in the regions. Mr. Langlois has more than 20 years of experience, having worked for many international and publicly-traded companies in different sectors of activity. Prior to joining the Corporation Mr. Langlois was the Chief Financial Officer at 5N Plus Inc., a company that specializes in the production and purification of minor metals with offices and facilities around the world, including Asia-Pacific and Europe. He has also worked for National Bank Financial as Vice President, Financial and Management Reporting. His solid international experience also extends to Ernst & Young, Transat, and Bombardier Transportation (Rail). David is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Vice-President, Head of Global Procurement
Matthieu Le Blanc was appointed Vice-President and Head of Global Procurement in January 2017, and is based at the Corporation’s headquarters in Montreal. Matthieu is responsible for managing the operational and strategic aspects of procurement for all of the Corporation’s international activities.
Matthieu joins us from CAE Inc., where he was responsible for the strategic management of global suppliers and the establishment of procurement processes, policies and internal controls worldwide. Previously, he held various positions in procurement matters at Pratt & Whitney Canada.
Matthieu has over 20 years of experience in the financial, telecommunications, and aeronautics industries. He studied at HEC and at the Université de Montréal in Marketing and Advertising.
Global Director, Transport and Infrastructure
Dave McAlister is Global Director, Transport and Infrastructure for the Corporation. Mr. McAlister was previously Parsons Brinckerhoff's Director of Corporate Development. Mr. McAlister joined Parsons Brinckerhoff in 1981 as a trackwork design engineer, and held a variety of technical and management positions within the firm. He also served as Managing Director—Europe/Africa/Middle East, and Director of Operations—Americas for Parsons Brinckerhoff. He has also served as Principal-in-Charge on several major projects, including large-scale transportation programs. Mr. McAlister holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Bucknell University.
Managing Director, Nordics
Magnus Meyer joined the Corporation in 2014 as Managing Director for WSP in Sweden, and was shortly thereafter appointed Managing Director for WSP in the Nordics. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Construction Management from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Prior to joining the Corporation, Mr. Meyer served as president and CEO of Tengbom Architects, a leading architectural firm in Northern Europe, and has also previously held leadership positions for GE Capital and several major Scandinavian property firms.
Chief Executive Officer, UK and South Africa
Mark Naysmith joined the Corporation in 1988 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer for the U.K. and South Africa in 2016, after holding a number of senior board positions in the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland. Mark is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a BEng Hons (1st) in Civil and Transportation Engineering and in 2018 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering (Dr.Eng) by Edinburgh Napier University in recognition of the contribution he has made to the built and natural environment. Having started his career as a civil and structural engineer, Mark spent the majority of his practicing career as a transport planner. In 2014, Mark was awarded the Association for Consultancy and Engineering - European Chief Executive of the Year Award. Mark also holds a Board position at the Association for Consultancy and Engineering together with membership on the Edinburgh Napier University Development Board.
VP, Global Head of Tax
Barbara E. Oberleitner joined the Company at the beginning of 2014 as Vice President, Tax and was promoted to Vice President, Global Head of Tax at the beginning of 2015. She brings 20 years of experience, having worked in large corporate settings at a senior executive level including as a Vice-President and Treasurer. Her professional career has allowed her to touch on a multitude of functions in diverse organisations in Canada from Vancouver to Montreal, as well as Toronto. Her experience spans taxation, treasury and auditing, as well as Chief Compliance Officer. Barbara is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. She has lectured on ‘Accounting Information Systems’ at McGill University in Montreal, and she earned her Commerce degree at Concordia University in Montreal. In 2009, Barbara’s outstanding contribution as a woman in finance was honoured as she was named one of the Incontournables de la finance au Québec by the magazine Premières en affaires.
Chief Information Officer
Gino Poulin was appointed WSP’s Chief Information Officer in January 2018, after joining the firm in January 2017 as Vice-President, IT Operations and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he is responsible for managing the strategic and operational information technology (IT) programs for all our global activities.
Gino Poulin has more than twenty years’ experience in managing information technology on an international level and has led numerous IT transformation programs.
Prior to joining WSP, Gino Poulin was Head of Information Technology for more than 15 years at Bombardier Aerospace, where he was responsible for global management of IT services and operations. Gino Poulin earned a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal.

Tom Smith, BSc (Hons), MBA, CEng MIMechE, has been with the Corporation since 1994 and has held a number of senior business leadership positions with our UK, Middle East and India regions as well as being closely associated with many of our flagship projects and strategic clients. Since 2010 Tom has focused his efforts on our global agenda and has been instrumental in developing our global culture, connectivity and services. He has worked throughout the Corporation with regional management to develop global initiatives focused on market sectors, global clients and major project bids. In January 2014, Tom Smith was appointed Global Director, Property and Buildings.
President and CEO, Australia and New Zealand
Guy Templeton is President and CEO in Australia and New Zealand. He was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of Parsons Brinckerhoff's Australia Pacific/Asia and southern Africa operating company. His earlier career was in engineering and consulting in the electricity, transportation, and telecommunications industries. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Minter Ellison Lawyers, the largest law firm in the Asia-Pacific region, whose specializations include infrastructure, energy, and resources industries. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of New South Wales. Based in Sydney, Mr. Templeton is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
