WSP Middle East is proud to showcase its industry-leading Accelerated Graduate Development Programme in Middle East Consultant’s ‘Going GIGA’ Report, a special one-off supplement focusing on the future of KSA’s giga-projects, people, and programmes beyond 2030.
Ian McGauley, Managing Director of Project Management Services, and Jafar Alsenan, Client Services Lead, spoke to Middle East Consultant about the value WSP is bringing towards empowering future generations of industry leaders in the Kingdom.
These interviews highlight the success WSP has had through its graduate programme since launching in 2021, along with future goals, and the excellent responses the firm has received both from clients and internally from its people.
Within these articles, Ian and Jafar discuss how WSP is fortunate to be in the unique position to be able to impart global knowledge, expertise, and real-world experience, along with a future focused outlook, onto the next generation of industry leaders in Saudi Arabia.
Jafar said: “The journeys our Saudi graduates are on are part of a much greater legacy for WSP in KSA… bringing our clients along on this journey is very important in this process and we are proud to be supporting the statement of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that vibrant and lively young talented Saudis are the future leaders for the Kingdom.”
Ian added: “We’re not just trying to create carbon copies of ourselves as expats, but on-boarding people who will have different, complementary responses to challenges and opportunities.”
“This is actually a giga-project within a giga-project: we are quite literally building the future. After all, the true giga-project isn’t about buildings and structures, it’s about people.”
