WSP Taiwan Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Incorporated in 1991, WSP has been serving Taiwan for more than three decades with our strong localised knowledge and experience. Due to the pandemic, the 30th anniversary celebration was postponed for two years and successfully held on 25 May at Hilton Taipei Sinban. There was a great turnout of around 150 clients and partners joining the celebration together with our Asia CEO Ivy Kong, Global Director of Transport & Infrastructure Eric Peissel, Taiwan Office Leader Frank Lin, General Manager Jaeka Cheng, the Asia Leadership Team and Taiwan colleagues.

In the gala dinner, Ivy remarked that WSP Taiwan is strategically positioned to be a leader in ESG and technology-focused developments to shape Taiwan into a high-tech hub and a strong market for sustainability. Governed by our Future Ready programme and the bold and ambitious strategies set under WSP’s latest Global Strategic Action Plan, Ivy asserted that WSP Taiwan will continue making great strides with unrivalled and top-class solutions to develop and innovate Taiwan with the full backing of regional and global experts.

Over the course of 30 years, our Taiwan team has always dedicated their expertise to drive Taiwan’s growth in the essential areas including but not limited to transportation, infrastructure, and modern high-rises. In the recent decade, as a responsible multinational corporation, we have been responding proactively to mitigate climate change with our exceptional expertise in renewable energies and ESG, in a bid to create a sustainable and liveable future for the next generation. As we forge ahead, we will continue contributing to Taiwan’s net-zero goals and circular economy.
