Savannah East Certified as Trinidad & Tobago’s First Green Building

The eco-friendly design of Savannah East has been recognized as the first LEED-certified project in Trinidad and Tobago. WSP USA provided engineering design and LEED advisory services.

Bamboo panels and recycled cardboard panels create an attractive, eco-friendly interior. The client, RGM Ltd., commissioned local artist Carlisle Harris to create the piece shown, titled “We Are All in This Together.”

Savannah East is the first building in Trinidad and Tobago certified LEED Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council.

A landscaped roof terrace provides visitors with a spectacular view of the Port of Spain landscape, which includes nearby Queen’s Park Savannah.
