The new WWZ Zug building is an office building with a built-in data centre. The building is made up of three upper floors for office use and three basement floors for parking. The data centre, emergency generator and transformer equipment are on the first basement floor. The roof and facades are fitted with photovoltaic panels.
The data centre meets the Uptime-Institute "Tier II Standard," and the installed cooling capacity is 2 x 566 kW.
As part of the project, we will design the following installations:
- Heating
Heat is generated by two heat pumps, each consisting of two 70 kW modules. The waste heat from the data centre is purified and then fed into the heating network.
- Cooling
Two cooling units, each consisting of an ammonia chiller with a 560-kW piston compressor.
- Warm Air/Cold Air Distribution
Air conditioning of the offices on floors 0 to 2 with multifunctional hybrid ceiling modules for heating, cooling, ventilation and acoustics.
