Dean McGrail, President of WSP Middle East & Asia, opened the session themed “Expect Different: Rethinking our future built environment, today” by celebrating Singapore’s visionary leadership in sustainable urban development and highlighting the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the city’s seamless integration of nature and innovation. He reaffirmed WSP’s commitment to shaping Future Ready, net-zero buildings through global expertise and bold thinking.
At the heart of the event, Dale Sinclair, WSP’s Global Lead for Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), delivered a keynote on the transformational potential of the kit-of-parts approach, an innovation that combines advanced manufacturing, digital design, and programme-level thinking to enable faster delivery, higher quality, and greater sustainability in the building process.
This event was timed with Dale’s visit to Singapore for the flagship IBEW 2025, where he spoke as both a keynote speaker and panellist to showcase WSP’s insights and actions on accelerating the paradigm shift in design and construction worldwide.
