We are delighted to share that WSP Middle East has received 11 International Safety Awards 2023 (ISA 2023) from the British Safety Council (BSC). These awards are a testament of WSP’s relentless drive to demonstrate high health and safety standards, outstanding control of risk, well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, and very low levels of error, harm and loss.

“The high quality of submissions from WSP projects in 2022 exemplifies our collective commitment towards embedding robust health, safety, and wellbeing frameworks across our projects and business. The projects recognised in this latest iteration of ISA Awards build on the successful recognition we received from BSC in 2022. Our HSE team looks forward to working alongside more of our people and teams to continue to raise the bar even further as we head into the third and final year of our Regional Strategic Action Plan cycle.”

Of the 11 projects, four submissions were awarded distinction grades – the highest grade possible. These four projects include Misk Schools in KSA, QXY Expressway in Qatar, DMCC Uptown Tower in the UAE, and Dubai Mall Expansion in the UAE. 

 The remaining seven projects that won the ISA 2023 with Merit are DGDA Infrastructure in KSA, FLS in UAE, RA257in Kuwait, JSW in KSA, Kharamaa in Qatar, Vida Dubai Mall in UAE, and DGDA Samhan Carpark in KSA.
