In collaboration with the Washington and Oregon Departments of Transportation, WSP is the prime GEC consultant to assist with the project to create a modern and seismically resilient replacement of the Interstate 5 (I-5) Bridge that improves mobility for surrounding communities.

WSP was lead advisor to National Highways in developing and implementing an ambitious roadmap to net zero by 2050.

The area around Karens Minde in Copenhagen's old South Harbour district is to be urbanized and climate-adapted as part of a single project.

Metrolinx, an agency of the Government of Ontario, Canada, selected WSP to outline emerging trends in technology and society and their potential impact on transportation in the Toronto region.

Life in the small town of Viby in Denmark has been enriched by the recently completed Cultural Centre and Library which provides a new gathering place, or living room, for the community. The project has been honoured as a Best Project in the 2022 ENR Global Best Projects Awards.

The ACT Government has committed to progressively reducing emission to zero emissions by 2045 with Government setting a target of 2040 for its own emissions.

Reducing emissions from the transport sector and in particular the Government run bus fleet, is a key component to achieving the ACT Government’s emissions targets and to achieving a sustainable future for the city through a clean, healthy and attractive public transport service.

Transport Canberra engaged WSP to deliver a Zero-Emission Transition Plan to allow government to make funding, fleet and depot planning decisions to commence the transition of Transport Canberra’s bus fleet to zero-emission vehicles.

This project replaced a functionally obsolete bridge on the Capital Beltway with the world’s widest draw spans over the Potomac River between the US states of Virginia and Maryland.

Washington State Department of Transportation operates and maintains 18,000 lane miles and 3,600 bridge structures, runs the largest ferry system in the nation and has 32 public partners that collectively provide more than 220 million transit trips per year. WSP USA provided traffic and revenue, economic, financial, operational and/or forecasting advisory services to all of the agency’s major development projects that keep people and the economy moving.

WSP USA is providing facilitation and support services for an automated vehicle (AV) work group that is charged with preparing Washington State for the coming deployment of AVs.

An optimized combination of policy initiatives across strategic planning, project development, finance, design and delivery, technology, operations and maintenance will drive development. WSP USA works with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s operating administrations, national-governmental organizations and other stakeholders to advance the state-of-the practice within local, state and regional governments and agencies to deliver service better, faster, safer and more reliably.

WSP USA developed a risk-based asset management plan for the Kansas Department of Transportation and supported development and implementation of asset management processes.
