WSP is also contributing to a study supporting Kellogg’s car park requirements and a future expansion study to inform an overall master planning initiative as part of Kellogg’s business planning in the near future.
WSP provided engineering detailed design in all disciplines (including Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical), cost estimates, tender procurement regarding technical specifications for the plant operation, authority submission and construction management till final hand over of project.
The challenge is to ensure the warehouses are GMP compliant, as well as air and water-tight for food and beverage operation. Design considerations should also reflect future expansion plans and their timings. Detailed consultations with insurers conducted before tender ensured fire protection was fully compliant.
