1. What are the entry requirements?
For our graduate opportunities, we require a Bachelor’s Degree with Second Class Honours or above in 2025 in a relevant engineering discipline.
For UK graduates who wish to enrol in the HKIE Scheme “A” training, please visit HKIE's website or send an email to HKIE to confirm your eligibility.
Our Hong Kong Graduate Programme is designed to provide initial training and development for starting your career and is therefore best suited to candidates with less than two years of post graduate experience. If you don’t meet our minimum entry requirements, you can find a range of other roles we offer that could suit you.
2. What is the recruitment process?
The recruitment process begins when you submit your application, marking the exciting first step towards joining this programme. Our recruitment cycle typically commences in mid-January, with offers being extended starting from March onwards. Your CV will undergo a preliminary evaluation, allowing us to assess your qualifications and suitability for the role. If you are shortlisted, we will reach out to you via phone or email to invite you to an interview. Upon successfully passing the interview, an offer will be extended. Our dedicated HR team will coordinate with you to finalize the details, including agreeing upon a start date that aligns with your availability.
3. What will I expect during the interview process?
The interview is a valuable opportunity for you to interact with our business line representatives and HR team. It allows you to gain deeper insights into the company culture, role, and the dynamic team you may join at WSP. Meanwhile, we will learn more about you and assess your suitability for the position. 5. Does this position have accreditation from the HKIE Scheme A, which leads to an engineer chartership upon completion?
Yes, you will be starting as an Assistant Engineer and we highly encourage you to participate in the HKIE Scheme A training. You will be supported by a Training Tutor and an Engineering Supervisor on the route to becoming professionally qualified.

6. What training and development will I receive?
You will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities. These include technical, business, and personal skills learning programs. Our in-house technical sessions cover various topics such as project sharing and engineering software applications. Additionally, you will have access to online learning tools to enhance your knowledge and understanding of business and industry. We have our Learning & Development Team to support your career progression, provide guidance for professional qualifications, and ensure you have the necessary skills to tackle future challenges and advancements in the industry.
7. Is it still possible for me to apply if I don't have the Right of Abode in Hong Kong?
We embrace candidates from diverse backgrounds and cultures to join WSP. After receiving a confirmed offer, our HR Team will assist in facilitating the arrangement of a working visa. Please note that employment is subject to the approval of a working visa for the Hong Kong SAR.
