WSP in Africa successfully delivered the last of the new distribution centres rolled out by Shoprite across South Africa: the mammoth 135,837 m² Whitey Basson Distribution Park (previously called the Shoprite Distribution Centre Cilmor) situated close to the Cape wine lands, in Cape Town in the Western Cape. Shoprite’s continuing growth saw the need for this new facility which would distribute dry groceries, refrigerated perishable, fresh fruit and vegetables, and frozen goods.
