Paul joined WSP in November 2014, as part of the Parsons Brinkerhoff acquisition, where he was Head of Operations for Africa. After the acquisition, Paul led the integration of WSP and Parsons Brinckerhoff in Africa and has, until recently, been the COO for Power, Industry & Property business units. Paul has over 12 years’ experience in management and has a B.Eng, Mechanical Engineering, University of Johannesburg, and MBA, Business Management, GIBS.
Mathieu du Plooy is Chief Operating Officer of WSP in the UK & Ireland. Mathieu is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational and commercial functions of the company and assisting the WSP in the UK & Ireland President and Managing Director with the implementation of the company's strategy. In addition to his UK & Ireland role, Mathieu is also Chief Operating Officer for WSP in Africa.
Savannah is Chairman of the Board of WSP in Africa. Currently, she is the Honourable Minister of Information, Communications and Technology for the Kingdom of Eswatini, where she leads the country’s national digital transformation agenda. She also serves as Chairperson of the Global Council on SDG 5: Gender Equality, leading international efforts to promote women’s inclusion, economic empowerment, and leadership.

A qualified quantity surveyor, she is the founder and Managing Director of Nonku Ntshona & Associates Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd. Her entrepreneurial spirit and in-depth industry experience is evident in her leadership of a largely female team to significant success in a male dominated industry. Nonku’s business is recognized for its expertise in delivering world class infrastructure on mandates across Africa. Her level of project experience includes infrastructure developments in the mining industry, roll out projects in the automotive sector, office developments, retail developments, housing developments, commercial mixed use developments and watching brief projects. Nonku also serves on numerous professional bodies and is affiliated to several organizations with a forum to advance women in business. Nonku is passionate about empowering women which resulted in her launching the South African chapter of the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEPSA), an outreach, education, and engagement initiative.
Dhiren brings over 10 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in financial leadership across diverse organisations. Before joining WSP, he held senior finance roles as Financial Director at DPI Plastics and Wade Walker. He holds a BCom (Honours) in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal and is recognised for his sound financial judgment and professional expertise.
Michelle Dauncey is the Managing Director for Property & Buildings, Africa, based in Johannesburg. She leads multidisciplinary teams across the region, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and the delivery of complex built‑environment projects. An architect by education and a Construction Project Manager for nearly 2 decades. Michelle has extensive experience in senior leadership roles across consulting and construction. She is recognised for her focus on sustainable development, client value, and building high‑performing teams.
Dinesh Buldoo is the Managing Director: Power & Energy in Africa with more than 20 years of experience. He combines technical expertise with strong commercial and governance acumen. In his role, Dinesh is responsible for setting strategic direction, driving sustainable growth, and overseeing the delivery of complex, high‑value energy solutions across Africa’s evolving power sector.
Sean Doel is one of South Africa’s leading environmental risk management specialists. With nineteen years of experience in both government and private sector work, he has worked at national policy level as well as on a wide range of environment and sustainability projects as both a specialist and project director.
Martin Goosen is Managing Director, Transport & Infrastructure for WSP in Africa, and is responsible for leading the strategic, operational, and commercial performance of the Transport & Infrastructure business across the region, with a strong focus on delivering sustainable, high-impact solutions for clients and communities. In his role, Martin works closely with regional and global leadership to drive growth, strengthen technical excellence, and support the implementation of WSP’s broader strategy across Africa.
Natalie is responsible for marketing and communications across our Africa business. During her time at WSP, she has steered our businesses through significant transformation programmes, including mergers and acquisitions and operating systems. Natalie holds a BA Hons in Public Relations and has managed communications across a number of industries and sectors, including roles at HSBC, Network Rail – who own, run and develop Britain’s railways, and Domestic & General, one of the UK’s leading insurance providers.

Nonku has been an executive member of the WSP Africa Board since 2018 and leads the organisation’s Growth Strategy across the region. A qualified Quantity Surveyor (FRICS, PrQS), she brings over 25 years of experience across the engineering and built environment sectors in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. She holds a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School and an MSc in Building, and is recognised for her strategic, commercial and advisory expertise.
Marnay Huet is a transformational HR Leader at WSP Africa and a member of the Africa Executive Committee. With over a decade of experience across engineering, consulting and allied industries, she leads the Africa HR function from Cape Town, aligning people strategy with business outcomes. A SABPP‑accredited professional pursuing a Master of Commerce, Marnay has driven major regional and global HR initiatives since joining WSP in 2018, including organisational integrations and cultural transformation.
