ANZ Leadership Team
Guy Templeton leads our operations in Asia Pacific and is responsible for a team of 10,000+ people in more than 70 offices across the region. He is also a key member of the WSP Global Executive Team. From 2016-2020, Guy managed our Australian and New Zealand operations.
Prior to this, Guy led various services and the construction business for the Asia Pacific region. His experience includes serving as chief executive of Minter Ellison lawyers and as Managing Partner at PA Consulting Group.
Greg Kane is our recently appointed Chief Operating Officer. For the past five years, he was the CEO of WSP in the Middle East.
Greg has over 20 years’ experience and has overseen the delivery of some of the world’s largest and most challenging vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects. He is a Chartered Structural Engineer with an MBA from INSEAD business school.
Leanne Whicker leads the human resources function for our Australian business.
With extensive experience in professional services spanning more than two decades, Leanne works with key functions in the firm to drive rapid growth, change and high performance with a focus on talent. As a registered organisational psychologist, she brings a strong evidence-based approach to human resources initiatives that deliver results.
Charlie Jewkes leads our recently combined transport and water business in Australia.
For the past 12 years, Charlie has held a variety of leadership roles in the infrastructure engineering space. He has a strong track record in business management and the delivery of a wide variety of projects for clients worldwide. Charlie is a chartered engineer with more than 20 years’ experience as a geotechnical and tunnelling engineer.
Aaron Little is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for WSP in Australia. He was appointed to the role as Golder joined WSP in 2021. Aaron had served as Golder’s Finance Director for Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
A commercially-focused finance executive, Aaron has more than 20 years’ experience across Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa, having worked in large complex, global organisations to drive financial outcomes. Aaron brings a deep understanding of operations in professional services, engineering and construction in the infrastructure, resources, energy, building and environment sectors.
Melissa is a collaborative leader with extensive experience running holistic, multi-channel external communications campaigns, managing strategic internal communication programs and collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders.
She is a skilled specialist with over 20 years experience in marketing, strategy, business development, account management, stakeholder engagement, work winning and client experience. She has expertise across a broad range of industry sectors with a recent focus on infrastructure, decarbonisation, government, transport, the built environment and technology.
Rob Clarke leads our Property & Buildings business in Australia.
With the firm for more than two decades, Rob previously led our Building Services team. He has been involved in significant building projects both nationally and in the UK. Rob maintains a client centric focus with key strengths in project leadership. He is an electrical engineer with a passion for client service excellence.
Grant Smallhorn General Counsel Asia Pacific, and company secretary of our Australian operating companies. He also is the chair of the ANZ Risk Management Committee.
Grant was previously the General Counsel for Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) in Asia, Australia, the Pacific and Southern Africa operations, during the period of Balfour Beatty ownership of the PB group. Prior to that, he served as General Counsel – International, which encompassed all non-North American operations of PB. He holds a bachelor of law with honours from the Queensland University of Technology.
Scott Fidler leads our Earth & Environment business in Australia.
Following the acquisition of Golder, where he was the Regional Manager for ANZ, Scott joined us to lead a team of 1,000+ people delivering engineering and environmental consulting services to address the ever-evolving challenges that earth sciences, environment, and energy present to clients in all markets. As a geotechnical engineer and hydrogeologist with more than 30 years of experience, Scott is passionate about developing strong client relationships, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability.
Paul Williams leads our 600+ strong Mining & Power businesses in Australia and Indonesia.
He is passionate about pursuing new innovations to help clients maximise the use of their existing asset base, improve the resiliency of our communities and decarbonise the economy. With more than 20 years’ experience in delivering strategic and technical advice, Paul’s knowledge extends to both finance and engineering.
Ian Blair leads our New Zealand operations, with responsibility for more than 2,100 people across 35+ offices. He is a member of both the WSP Australia & New Zealand Leadership Team and the Global Leadership Team, as well as a Director on the Board of WSP New Zealand Limited.
A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, Ian has a proven track record of delivering results combined with a talent for transformational change. He has previously held senior executive positions at Westpac in New Zealand and Australia, where he was responsible for revenues in excess of $1 billion.
Robyn Gillespie is the CIO for both Australia and New Zealand. In this new and expanded role for the region, she is responsible for managing the firm’s IT strategy and computer operations.
Robyn was formerly the GM of IT & Operations for WSP Opus and before that held the role of GM of IT at Downer. In a career spanning 30+ years, she has gained extensive experience in both the public and private sector working on leading edge projects including delivering AI and machine learning.
