We are proud of our dynamic employee groups around the world, in which individuals can share experiences and celebrate differences. Our employee groups are open for all our employees to join and take part.
These groups also play a key role in the local promotion of STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to inspire the next generation and contribute to a more diverse industry in the future.
Our commitment to inclusive gender equality
At WSP, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Our Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) drives meaningful progress by removing barriers, strengthening accountability and advancing equitable outcomes for all genders.
We are committed to transparency, and publish our gender pay gap data to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement - median base salary gap of 24.5%, average base salary gap of 22.3%, median total remuneration gap of 25.1%, and average total remuneration gap of 24.0%. While industry dynamics, workforce composition and business growth influence pay gap outcomes, we remain focused on continuous improvement through our GEAP, legislative obligations and external accreditation frameworks.
Our focus areas include:
- Leadership accountability
- Embedding gender equality into decision-making through clear expectations, transparent reporting and shared accountability.
- Gender equality outcomes
- Strengthening recruitment, development and promotion pathways to improve representation and reduce gender pay gaps.
- Removing structural barriers
- Fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive culture through flexible work, education, and action to address sexual and gender-based harassment.
