WSP in Australia has been recognised as a WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality for the eighth consecutive year.
This national recognition reflects the commitment of WSP’s people and its leaders in creating a workplace that is safe, fair, and inclusive.
The WGEA citation recognises employers demonstrating leading practice on gender equality. In 2025, WGEA strengthened its criteria and introduced two tiers of recognition: the higher ‘Employer of Choice for Gender Equality’ and the ‘Employer Committed to Gender Equality’ citation. WSP is proud to have achieved the 'Employer of Choice for Gender Equality' - one of only 64 organisations to be recognised nationally in March 2026.
“Holding the Workplace Gender Equality Citation provides national recognition that WSP in Australia is deeply committed to positive action to achieve gender equality in their workplace,” said WGEA CEO, Mary Woolridge.
“Citation holders demonstrate strong gender-equal outcomes at the moments that matter most to women and men at work. They go beyond policy and programs, embedding gender equality into the everyday employee experience."
"Committing to clear targets and using insights from employee surveys, these employers turn data into action, strengthening safety, fairness and opportunity for everyone in their organisation,” Ms Woolridge added.
WSP’s latest Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) provides clear, measurable actions to strengthen leadership accountability, improve gender representation, and remove structural barriers.
