Mentoring
Under HKIE Scheme A training, you will be supported by a Training Tutor and an Engineering Supervisor on the route to becoming professionally qualified. You will be encouraged to join activities organised for graduates to make connections and share knowledge.
Training
A combination of technical, business and personal skills learning opportunities will be available for you to take part in. You will be invited to our induction event which will introduce you to your peer group, the graduates programme and the wider WSP business. Our teams provide regular in-house technical learning sessions that you can attend as well as online learning tools that you can use to boost your knowledge and understanding of the business and industry.
Learning & Development
Learning and development is a very important part of life here at WSP. We have a dedicated Learning & Development Team to assist you with all aspects of your career progression, including providing guidance to help you achieve professional qualifications. You will also benefit from the support of your Training Tutor, your Engineering Supervisor, your line manager and your team. Development continues throughout a career at WSP, and you will have access to a huge range of additional training that will enable you to meet the ever-changing challenges of the future and advances in the sector.
Professional Growth Network (PGN)
The PGN is a network group run by early career professionals for early career professionals and will help you to grow your network of contacts. It can also provide you with opportunities for extra experience to support you in achieving chartered status or other professional accreditations. You could get involved by participating in lunchtime and evening seminars/ talks and networking events with peers and management, as well as site visits to aid knowledge sharing.
