NEW YORK — WSP, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, has been recognized with a series of industry awards highlighting its technical advances, delivery of complex infrastructure projects and respected leadership across infrastructure and buildings.
The Terminal 5 Pier and Dredging Project at the Port of Davisville, Rhode Island, received a 2025 Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Silver Award for Horizontal Construction Design-Build. WSP was recognized as a project partner alongside Manafort Brothers, Inc. and the Quonset Development Corporation. The project was honored by DBIA for excellence in design-build delivery, constructing Rhode Island’s first new heavy commercial pier in nearly 70 years.
The Carolina Herrera Boutique in La Jolla, California, was the winner of a New York Architectural and Interior Design Silver Award, recognized in the Interior Design-Commercial category. WSP’s role as structural engineer contributed to realizing the high-end retail store’s architectural vision — balancing structural performance with the precision, delicacy and material expression expected in a luxury retail environment. The project was completed in March, and the award was announced on May 15.
Six videos developed by WSP’s Power and Energy visualization team for client projects were recognized with 2026 Telly Awards, among the world’s highest honors covering video and television across all screens. The recognition highlights the team’s work on project overview videos, including: ValleyLink: Joshua Falls to Yeat Transmission Line project, Gold award for Craft-Digital Environments and Bronze award for Craft-Fully Animated Piece; Wood River Valley Reliability Project, Silver Award, General-Explainer category; Dominion Energy: GIS, Bronze award, General-Explainer; National Grid – New England: Rights-of-Way, Bronze award, General-Information; and QRC: Omega Splice, Bronze award, Craft-Motion Graphics and Design.
WSP was named to BuiltWorlds’ 2026 Global Innovators Top 50, recognizing the firm’s continued investment in forward-thinking solutions and its application of advanced technologies across the built environment. The Global Innovators program highlights organizations that are successfully adopting and scaling digital tools and new delivery approaches to improve how infrastructure and buildings projects are planned, designed and delivered.
WSP was recognized for its ability to integrate these solutions into its operations and projects in ways that contribute to broader industry advancement. The award was presented at BuiltWorlds’ Paris Global Summit in early June.
