Alternative project delivery leader for WSP’s Southeast District, Angel André Chavarria, PE is a seasoned transportation project manager in the design, construction and management of major projects including all types of transit facilities, such as bus rapid transit, automated people movers and commuter, light, heavy and freight rail. He has successfully led large multi-disciplinary project teams, both nationally and internationally. With more than 28 years of experience, Angel’s focus and background in project delivery method includes design-bid-build and alternative delivery with an estimated $6.2 billion in construction costs.
Currently, he is the project delivery director for WSP’s Southeast region, serving as client liaison and responsible for project implementation and delivery, contract execution, quality control and subconsultant management.
