Dana Lowell has 36 years of experience, including 25 years directly in the transportation industry and government sectors. Before joining WSP, Dana led an advanced vehicle technology group, providing strategic analysis, project management, and technical support to mobile source emissions reduction programs, focusing on medium- and heavy-duty fleet vehicles. Dana spent seven years as the assistant chief maintenance officer for research and development at Metropolitan Transit Authority New York City Transit's Department of Buses. In this role, Dana was responsible for both evaluation and implementation of clean fuel technology programs. Dana's recent experience has focused on electric vehicle policy analysis and supporting transit agencies and other organizations with planning for fleet electrification.
