Justin Lennon, PE is a Technical Fellow and WSP USA’s national practice lead for hydraulic structures and flood control. Justin has been with WSP for the past 18-years supporting projects throughout the US, including work in more than 36 states. He specializes in river engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, ecosystem restoration, hydraulic structure design, bridge and culvert hydraulics, aquatic organism passage/fish passage design, and climate change adaptation and resiliency. He is leading strategic initiatives for WSP focused on growth and technical excellence in the dams and reservoir and complex hydraulics markets. While at WSP, Justin has supported over 300 bridge analysis and design projects, led the design of numerous levee systems and over 30 miles of stream restoration projects, supported dam removal projects, and piloted new techniques in river engineering design. He is part of WSP’s strategic team that is working on the development of tools and methods for incorporation of climate change uncertainty into engineering analyses.
