Tershara has an extensive career working both in the public and private sector at the interface between science and policy. She is heavily invested in stakeholder engagement and collaboration for better decision making. Her focus has been in the energy sector where she performed both program and project management. Along with energy and environmental issues she is competent in scientific research and data management, renewable energy, sustainable development, marine spatial planning, energy efficiency, environmental awareness, climate change, and coastal resiliency. Her formal education is in business development from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
