Natrona High School
Originally designed to house both Casper College and Natrona County High School the historic Natrona High School, was the first center of education in Wyoming. Built in 1924 in the collegiate gothic style, the school is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The $100 million project encompassed a 140,000 sf renovation and the 134,200 sf addition to the historic structure.

Overall View
During the renovation we helped update the high school into a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide students with project-based learning spaces.
Main Corridors
Main corridors are illuminated by fixtures that highlight movement and activity. Each academy is organized around subjects, such as technology, math or arts.
Laboratory Classrooms
Working laboratory classrooms are illuminated to light the teaching wall and to provide for flexibility with easily controlled zoning and control system locations.
Low-Traffic Corridors
Low-traffic corridors within the academic nodes are illuminated with surface mount round fixtures that provide even lighting centered around classroom entrances.
Historic Theater
The historic theater was renovated with new decorative pendants and theatrical back-of-house lighting.
Library
The two-story library space is illuminated with vertical pendants that change color to the school's colors, often for sporting events.
Connecting Corridor
The main connecting corridor links the theater to the two-story gymnasium entrance. The design is vibrant and active.
Cafe and Mezzanine
Cafe and mezzanine spaces are illuminated with pendant mount direct/indirect light fixtures and pendant downlight fixtures that extend the main corridor lighting pattern.
Cafe
The open stairs and cafe seating area are illuminated to provide flexibility in light levels to account for different events scheduled for the space.
Gymnasium
The gymnasium addition includes a modern entrance that creates a lantern-like beacon for students and fans arriving for events at the gym.

Part of the fabric of British Columbia, Vancouver’s 55,000-seat BC Place Stadium hosts hundreds of events each year, including sports, concerts, trade shows and conventions. The stadium opened in 1983 as Canada’s first domed stadium, covered by the world’s largest air-supported dome roof.
