Ameren had an ambitious plan to tackle 150 reliability projects at once, an extensive portfolio of intricate transmission line and substation projects across their service area. We introduced them to POWER360, a proprietary tool that makes collaboration and critical documentation processes a breeze.
Innovation enabled seamless collaboration
Ameren enlisted our team to oversee transmission and substation reliability projects over six years using POWER360. This platform enabled seamless integration of internal and external teams across construction supervision, engineering, environmental management, real estate, materials management and contracting.
By providing a single source of truth through POWER360’s project management information system, we ensured that all project data was stored and shared efficiently. The integrated master schedule in Primavera P6 empowered informed decision-making by allowing analysis of milestones, resource constraints and potential impacts across multiple projects. This allowed Ameren transmission and substation projects to reach new levels of efficiency.
Enhanced communication and accountability
Our well-defined communication processes delivered clear information for decision-making and program control. Real-time progress reports on contractor scheduling and status updates fostered improved performance accountability among all stakeholders involved.
This comprehensive approach not only set new standards for collaborative infrastructure management but also showcased how innovative technology can drive efficiency in large-scale energy projects.
