WSP celebrated Global Community Engagement Day on Jan. 28, a day focused on recognizing the values of community engagement and the professionals dedicated to the field of public communications.
In the U.S., this critical work is led by the Communications and Public Involvement Practice (CPI), a team of nearly 100 professionals in more than 30 offices who work with clients across the country to engage communities and bring the public’s vision for a project to life.
Meaningful community engagement is foundational to the success of projects of all sizes and leads to better outcomes. It is only when end-users of a project are consulted that you can begin to understand and address their needs. CPI’s full-service team of communications professionals is adept at developing context-sensitive community engagement strategies to meet our communities where they are. We collaborate with our clients and in-house network of technical staff to advance projects hand-in-hand with the communities we serve.
