VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON — As the need for critical bridge rehabilitation and construction grows in the U.S., Marcin Kasiak, PhD, IWE, PMP, PE, senior vice president, joined the national bridges and structures practice at WSP, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, combining its engineering, advisory and science-based expertise to shape communities.
Kasiak, based in Vancouver, Washington, leads multi-discipline teams throughout the Western U.S. to ensure structural engineering projects and programs are successfully delivered.
“Innovation that addresses the challenges transportation agencies face with their bridge construction programs, such as rising costs and accelerated timelines, is a top priority, and Marcin exudes engineering talent, vision and leadership,” said Krishna Sandepudi, PhD, PE, SE, senior vice president, U.S. national bridges and structures practice director. “From the Russell Bridge in Boston to the Marion Street Bridge in Seattle, he has combined functionality with form to bring pride to the communities his creations now serve.
