What does "process and packaging solutions" mean?

Process and packaging solutions refer to the comprehensive integration of all steps involved in transforming raw materials into finished products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout. This includes overseeing how raw materials are received, processed and developed into final goods, as well as managing primary and secondary packaging. The process extends to the distribution and warehousing stages, optimizing the entire chain to support safe, compliant and effective delivery of products to customers.

What is WSP’s role in material handling?

We can manage the entire material handling process, starting with receiving raw materials and transporting them through each stage of process development. Our responsibilities extend to both primary and secondary packaging and continue through the handling of finished goods for distribution, warehousing and delivery. This integrated approach ensures seamless movement of materials from receipt to shipment, supporting overall operational efficiency.

What does your automation controls service entail?

Our controls engineers specialize in evaluating and enhancing existing automation control systems and philosophies. We offer comprehensive solutions by integrating new technologies into current systems or by designing entirely new control architectures tailored to client requirements. This approach enables us to support modernization efforts and ensure our clients are prepared for future advancements in automation and technology integration in manufacturing environments.

Does your team build control panels or equipment?

Our controls team is fully equipped to handle the design, specification and construction of electrical control panels. We define the required control components and systems for these panels and operate our own internal panel-building shop, where we design, build and test panels before installation and integration in the field. While we do not typically build equipment ourselves outside of controls packages, we always collaborate to integrate the best equipment solutions for our clients’ operations.
