Leading engineering and environmental professional services consultancy WSP has appointed Graeme Forbes as its new Head of Project & Commercial Services (P&CS).
Based in Glasgow, Graeme will lead WSP’s 250-person P&CS team which supports private and public sector clients including National Highways and HS2.
Joining from Jacobs, Graeme was most recently Group Director of Business Operations and successfully led growth and people strategies for 16 years at the firm. He also oversaw programme management and performance excellence for key water and defence clients.
Graeme brings a wealth of experience in operational and project delivery to WSP’s Planning & Advisory business which the P&CS specialism sits within. His appointment supports the ambitious targets set out in the firm’s 2022-24 growth strategy and he’ll be particularly focused on growth in the energy, defence and water sectors.

WSP is at the forefront of innovation within the infrastructure sector and its new strategy for growth over the next three years will only strengthen this position. I’m keen to bring my people leadership and multi-sector experience to P&CS and help the business, our people and our clients move forward together.”
Paul Reilly, Managing Director of Planning & Advisory at WSP, said: “I warmly welcome Graeme to WSP at an exciting time for the business and our people. Graeme’s people leadership experience will be a valuable asset to P&CS and our Planning & Advisory business more broadly, strengthening existing relationships and connecting with clients in new sectors.”
