A lot has changed in the way we develop new bridge projects in Canada. Digital technologies have changed how we model and test our designs, new materials are being used to extend the life of the structures, and new approaches are creating bridges that stand up to the challenging conditions of an evolving climate.
Regardless of the length of the span, designers, engineers and contractors are taking different approaches to developing structures that provide better value for the communities they serve, and service those same communities for longer than ever before.
