Aside from the beautiful landscapes, my best memories of this Impact Tour are the people I met along the way and the hospitality of the communities we visited. The locals were always proud to share their stories and traditions with us.
Throughout my trip, I was reminded how fortunate we are to live in Canada. The next time you drink a glass of water, take a second to appreciate it and think about the billions around the world who don’t have the same privilege.
It’s inspiring to be a part of an organization that is committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. As part of WSP’s partnership and spring match campaign with Water for People, we were able to mobilize $91,500 in donations. That’s an incredible response over a few short months.
As I wrap up my blog, I would like to thank WSP for this unbelievable opportunity. It was such an eye-opening experience for me and I will keep the learnings and memories with me for the rest of my life. And of course, I’d like to thank all of you for watching my videos and engaging on social media – I hope you learned something along the way!
