Olivier Joyal appointed to Regional Leader, Quebec, for WSP in Canada

Olivier Joyal has accepted the position of Regional Leader, Quebec, for WSP in Canada (WSP) on a permanent basis. He had been appointed to the role on a temporary basis in April.

As the Regional Leader for Quebec, Olivier will work with a team of 3,000 employees in 26 offices across the province, driving collaboration between sectors to contribute to Québec’s economic development and with innovative solutions that will support the efforts of the Quebec government to reduce its emissions as part of its 2030 Plan for a Green Economy. He will also continue to lead the Client Program with Amir Abd El Halim, Regional Leader for Ontario and the Atlantics, and Peter Hatcher, Regional Leader for Western Canada and the Territories.

Mr. Joyal originally joined WSP in 2005 as an Earth Sciences Coordinator. Since then, he has held several senior leadership positions with the company.

Mr. Joyal holds a Bachelor of Science, Geology, from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
