WSP has been recognized as a top corporate citizen in Canada in Corporate Knights magazine’s annual ranking.
The magazine analyzed 340 large-scale Canadian corporations based on a set of 25 quantitative key performance indicators. The annual ranking considers factors such as sustainable investment, energy productivity and gender diversity to name a few.
“This ranking is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our people, working to achieve our goal of reaching net zero by 2040,” says Marie-Claude Dumas, President and CEO of WSP in Canada. “Together, we’re working with our clients and our industry peers to create a future that is environmentally, socially and economically responsible.”
This marks WSP’s fourth straight year on the list and its fifth-place ranking in 2024 is its best ever. WSP was previously ranked #24 in 2021 before jumping to sixth position in 2022 and 2023.
This is the second time this year that WSP has been recognized for its responsible practices by Corporate Knights. In January, the company was named to the publication’s list of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations.
