WSP named Great Company to Work for in Canadian Rail

Award presented at inaugural Canadian Rail Achievement Awards in Toronto.

WSP in Canada (WSP) is proud to have been recognized as the Great Company to Work for in Canadian at the Canadian Rail Achievement Awards.

WSP has had a long-standing reputation for creating a strong culture for success within our rail and transit team, one that focuses on collaboration and innovation. This award is a clear demonstration of that commitment, and a testament to the quality and creativity of our workforce.

The inaugural awards were presented by the Transit Rail Association for Canadian Contractors, Maintainers, Operators and Standards (TRACCS). The awards “… marks a significant milestone in recognizing the outstanding contributions and achievements within Canada’s rail sector.”

The Great Company to Work for In Canadian Rail award “… recognizes a rail organization that excels in creating a healthy, inclusive, and innovative workplace. With labour shortages, safety demands, and generational change, workplace culture matters more than ever.”

Our dedicated team of hundreds of rail and transit professionals work incredibly hard to deliver solutions for communities throughout Canada. I am so happy that their work has not gone unnoticed, and that they can celebrate the success of this award together.

The Union Station Enhancement Project was also recognized, receiving the award for Best Safety on a Rail Project. That project is led by the ONTrack Alliance, a consortium that includes WSP (design lead).

The gala presentation took place November 13th at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. In total, 11 awards were handed out to companies, projects and individuals for excellence in the Canadian rail industry.
