With the redevelopment of its Quebec City studio, Ubisoft wanted to offer its employees the best video game creation space in Canada. Amenities included densely populated production areas, a cafeteria, an audio recording area, a testing lab, meeting and training rooms, a gymnasium, locker rooms, and a state-of-the-art data center.
The implementation of an effective ventilation and air conditioning strategy in areas without ceilings was a major challenge, as it was intended to combat the high heat load in mass production rooms. The Electrical and IT infrastructure were also challenging and required unique solutions.
