Our experience encompasses all aspects of airfield development including runways, taxiways, aprons, and runway safety areas. For landside infrastructure, we have expertise in surface access, utilities, ramps, and boarding areas. With our experience, airport owners have the assurance of state-of- the-art design that will meet or exceed expectations.
Prompt and Safe Airside Infrastructure Services
Our specialists work closely with airport owners to improve operations and assist them in achieving their goals. We provide prompt and safe services that fully satisfy client expectations and airport needs.
At the San Francisco International Airport, we led the runway upgrade needed to comply with FAA runway safety area (RSA) standards. This award-winning project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, thanks to excellent communication and coordination between the stakeholders.
Many of our projects included airfield lighting and signage upgrades that required work on existing airfield lighting systems and airfield electrical vaults. We have also worked on multiple runways, taxiways and apron projects, designing and installing new airfield lighting and circuits, manholes and duct banks, and new airfield signage.
We have led landside expansion and capital improvement projects at airports of all sizes throughout the world. For landside, we have extensive experience in planning, design, construction management, and program management of:
- Access roadways
- Parking structures
- Mass transit interface
- Utility infrastructure
- Access ramps/gates
- Hangars
- Facilities
We have designed access roads and “gateway” structures that create a first impression of the airport, as well as terminal expansion programs, runway and taxiway rehabilitations, and new airport development projects.
Airports must be designed for the people who use them and be efficient for the people who run them. Our aviation team consistently meets engineering and architectural challenges with solutions that result in safe, secure, and continuous passenger activity and aircraft operation.
