“One Water” is a total lifecycle approach that views and manages water – in all its forms and uses, whether stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, industrial water or residential – as an essential and irreplaceable resource.
Tyler Jones, national business line executive of the U.S. water practice at WSP, and his team, have been successfully advancing this mindset in projects across the country, resulting in more sustainable, nature-based solutions that are re-defining how water is working in more efficient and effective ways across the country that benefit communities and nature.
Jones spoke with Katie Johns, host of Talking Underwater – One Water One Podcast, about several topics, including why One Water is important, what the challenges are to implementing these programs, and how this essential work can vary by region. He also shares additional insights on WSP’s one water successes.
