Transforming the UK electricity networks represents one of the greatest capital national infrastructure programmes since rebuilding the country post WWII.

One of the projects you may be working on would be The Great Grid Upgrade, led by National Grid, which represents the largest transformation of the electricity grid in generations. Spanning England and Wales, this initiative connects more clean, affordable energy to homes and businesses.

 The program includes 17 major infrastructure projects designed to scale up the grid and update the grid, enabling the transmission of clean, secure energy—such as wind power generated in the North Sea—to where it's needed most.
