Each year we offer a number of paid placements at WSP for which Undergraduates can apply.

There are two types of placements available:
 
Summer Placements generally run between June and August each year. Lasting at least eight weeks, these placements give insight into WSP’s world leading engineering professional services consultancy and great opportunities to work on WSP projects.
  
Year in Industry placements can last anywhere from an academic year (September to July) up to a calendar year (September to August) dependent on your university course requirements. A year in industry can give further opportunities to develop the skills and knowledge being taught at university and set you up for future success.

Each year we recruit up to 120 students for our Summer Placement and Year in Industry Placements.

Timelines and Process

We go live with our Placement opportunities on the 10^th October and will close for applications on the 31^st December. however, will extend the closing date if required and if we receive a high volume of applications, we have the right to close the role earlier than the closing date.

Here’s how the process works:

• Submit Application 
• Initial screen by the recruitment team to check you have the right qualifications for the opportunity you are looking for
• If you pass the initial screen, you will then get sent through to the next stage in the process which is a behavioural assessment – to learn more about what this entails please visit : -

• If you pass the behavioural assessment – you will then be sent a holding email whilst we continue to shortlist and determine if we have a match for what you are looking for
• If successful, you will then be invited into one of our offices for an interview
