THE CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING DIRECTIVE (CSRD) – WHAT IS IT, HOW WILL IT AFFECT YOUR BUSINESS, AND WHAT ACTION SHOULD YOU TAKE?

The EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) will significantly increase the number of companies subject to EU sustainability reporting requirements, including companies listed outside the EU itself.

It is part of the broader European Union (EU) regulatory effort to achieve a more sustainable future through the European Green Deal, and as such builds on the existing Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulations (SFDR) and links to Article 8 of the EU Taxonomy. Although this is an EU Directive it directly impacts many large non-EU companies by requiring them to report under CSRD.

This webinar provides a detailed review of the objectives of CSRD and how it relates to other frameworks and regulations, whilst also providing the key actions that your business should take to be best prepared to meet your obligations. 

Companies currently reporting to NFRD are first required to disclose in alignment with CSRD from 1st January 2025, with other companies following suit in subsequent years. However, for all responders the preparation will need to begin as soon as possible.
