The Circular Future of Airports

Circular economy is defined as an economic system that prioritises the optimisation of material use and minimisation of waste, a systems approach that keeps products, materials, and assets at their highest value for as long as possible. Building on the thought piece published in 2023, which highlighted the theory of circular economy, this article presents practical examples of circular economy applications in aviation.
