Leading multi-disciplinary professional services consultancy WSP has appointed Jim Campbell as its new Data Centre Sector Lead for the UK.
Based in Edinburgh, Jim will join WSP’s Mission Critical Facilities team which supports private and public sector clients on the delivery of resilient energy-efficient mission critical facilities. These mission critical facilities require resilient infrastructure and systems that function efficiently, effectively and continuously to ensure uninterrupted facility operation.
With over 31 years’ experience in the design of data centres across Europe and the Middle East, Jim’s appointment will drive WSP’s Property & Buildings business to expand its existing digital services capability.
Jim will focus on leveraging WSP’s multi-disciplinary design and advisory capabilities to deliver new, innovative and sustainable solutions to designing these facilities across the business’s service lines, including Earth & Environment, Energy and Property & Buildings.
Joining from Red Engineering, Jim was most recently Regional Director and was at the business for over nine years.
