John has 27 years of professional experience in Yorkshire and the North East. High profile Yorkshire-based schemes include the Majestic Building, Ruth Gorse Academy, Leeds University Technical College, Leeds Beckett University's Rose Bowl, the Carnegie Pavilion at Headingley Cricket Ground and One City Park in Bradford. In the wider geography John has worked on ‘The Word’ building in South Shields, the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital and dozens of residential proposals.
John has advised Government Departments, Councils, Universities, Colleges and a variety of private sector clients; including developers, institutions, land owners and a wide variety of building occupiers. He is also involved in the Planning Reform Group of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Leeds Planning and Developers Forum.
