To support with gap closing, WSP provided several workshop sessions to upskill the Endeavour Mining ESG team as well as to raise awareness of nature-related reporting requirements with the governing Board and Executive Leadership Team. Endeavour Mining undertook activities across its mine sites with local staff and stakeholders, to evaluate and assess risks and opportunities associated with biodiversity impacts using the TNFD's LEAP approach.
Endeavour published their initial TNFD report in the 2024 Sustainability Report, meeting their early adopter commitments. The deliverables of this project equip Endeavour Mining with the necessary insights and strategic direction to not only comply with emerging nature-related reporting standards but to also take a leadership stance in the mining industry’s journey towards enhanced biodiversity conservation and sustainable practices. Continued efforts to close gaps and broaden the scope of the assessment in 2025/6 are a testament to Endeavour Mining's commitment to environmental stewardship and transparency in its global operations.
