Concrete recycling in Dublin

A construction boom in Ireland has meant another kind of boom as well – in the volume of construction and demolition waste, much of it concrete rubble. With construction cranes standing tall all over Dublin, there is a need to find a solution in the capital city, where landfills have limited capacity to accept this material. At the same time, consumption of virgin aggregate is also rising, with associated environmental impacts.
