Marlborough is New Zealand’s predominant wine growing region, with approximately 400,000 tonnes of grapes harvested from 30,000 hectares of vineyards around the district. This puts tremendous pressure on both our 260km of state highway and 1520km of local roads. These roads are maintained by the Marlborough Network Outcomes Contract (NOC), a joint venture between our partners Fulton Hogan and HEB.

WSP Blenheim provides a subconsultant service to the NOC, committing five full-time professionals that provide specialist pavement knowledge, design, expertise, asset & network control management, geotechnical engineering, and planning services, along with road safety engineering. These services contribute to the success and safety of Marlborough’s vital $2 billion wine industry, tourism and local.
