These changes coincide with the departure of David Kidd who is leaving his position as Director of Client and Strategic Advisory to take up a role as CEO at land and infrastructure firm Woods & Partners. The changes will take effect from 1 August.
During his five years with WSP, David has been instrumental in the successful brand transition from Opus to WSP, initiating WSP’s commitment to halve the carbon footprint of its advice and designs by 2030 and expanding Strategic Advisory services including the development of the Climate Advisory and Future Ready Advisory offerings.
Nicole Tucker has been with WSP in New Zealand for the past five years, most recently as Head of Marketing and Bids. Prior to this she worked in financial services across New Zealand and Australia, including with BNZ, National Australia Bank and Diners Club International.
In her new role, Nicole will oversee WSP in New Zealand's brand, corporate communications, marketing, bids, client insights and experience teams. She will also be responsible for overseeing WSP in New Zealand's Future Ready® Programme.
Grant Hodges joined WSP in New Zealand in February, having spent the past nine years as a partner at EY New Zealand where he led the transactions and infrastructure advisory business.
WSP in New Zealand managing director Ian Blair says the new executive leadership roles provide continuity, a seamless transition and strongly support strategic growth ambitions through a focus on further strengthening brand, client experience, and strategic advisory practice.
