Mike is passionate about delivering and shaping a transport network that minimises impacts on the environment.

“Gone are the days of predict and provide. We need to develop our solutions that encourage a shift from single driver occupancy vehicles into more sustainable transport modes”.

His career defining moments include a major contributing role spanning over 25 years in developing and shaping the 80km Waikato Expressway between Mercer to Cambridge and being an international team member tasked with developing the $4B concept design of the Singapore underground ring road.

“There is nothing more satisfying that shaping a client’s vision from inception through to project completion while leaving a positive legacy for years to come.”

Mike is a Chartered Professional Engineer and has an NZCE Civil, Post Graduate Certificate in Transport Planning, Management and Control from the University of New South Wales, and certificates in Road Safety (uni NSW) and Traffic Safety (uni New England)

Outside of work, Mike loves the outdoors, especially fishing and scuba diving, and martial arts.
