Clean Growth

What if we can unlock our economic potential while prioritising environmental and social wealth?

WSP transport experts have helped regenerate local environments and economies around Aotearoa and across the globe. The Bradford City Council Clean Growth plan demonstrates the how thoughtful mass rapid transit initiatives regenerate urban spaces. In Aotearoa, our experts led the award-winning development of the Christchurch Major Cycle Routes. These cycleways were designed to be suitable for a 10-year old user in order to cement cycling as a viable transport option for the community. The careful integration of urban design, traffic calming, markings, and signage, were introduced with the goal of reducing vehicle speeds alongside cycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

We specialise in human-centred research and design, which puts the end users of transport designs at the heart of the solution. Our world-leading research centre work in multi-disciplinary teams to address challenges including transportation safety, community resilience and road user behavioural change.

We integrate digital technology at the heart of your clean growth strategy to make it easier to reach your objectives like decarbonisation, customer experience, health and safety, and operational excellence.

Underpinned by our Future ReadyTM methodology, WSP takes an evidence-based approach to make sure our transport designs respond to the needs of today and the social, environmental, and technological megatrends shaping Aotearoa.
